Asante Kotoko have advanced to the next stage of the Elite Club Cup after beating Wassaman 5-0 in second leg match played at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.
Kotoko came back from a goal down in the first leg match played at Dompim last week to qualify by a 5-1 margin.
Two goals from Latif Amadu and one each from Ahmed Toure and Prince Baffoe gave the Porcupine Warriors a victory over the second tier side.
The reigning Premier League Champions have now joined fifteen other clubs who have qualified to the next stage of the novelty competition where they will be drawn into four groups made up of four teams each.
The clubs in each group will play against each other on a home and away basis. Three points shall be awarded for a win and one point for a drawn game.
