The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Yaw Kusi Gyamfi Awere as the new Chairman of the Beach Soccer League Committee.
Yaw Kusi Gyamfi Awere, who previously served as a member of the Ghana Beach Soccer League Committee, brings extensive experience in sports administration to his new role. He currently serves as the Director of Operations at the National Sports Authority (NSA), a position that has given him strong insights into the coordination and management of sporting events nationwide.
He will be supported by Solomon Torson, who retains his position as Vice Chairman of the Committee. Torson, the Deputy General Secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), continues to bring his wealth of knowledge in player welfare and professional football development to the Beach Soccer structure.
Other members of the Committee include Nana Poku Amankwah, who retains his membership position on the committee to keep supporting with his energy and ideas.
Joining them as new members are Ruben Adjahoe and Abdul Hayye Yartey, President of Cheetah FC and Cheetah Beach Soccer Club, whose commitment to talent development is well recognized in the local football space.
The Beach Soccer League Committee is tasked with supervising and developing the Ghana Beach Soccer League, ensuring its growth, visibility, and competitiveness both locally and internationally.
