Ahead of their opening match against Congo, Black Satellites Assistant Coach Salifu Fatawu has expressed optimism that the team is well prepared to go for the ultimate in the 13th African Games Men's Football tournament.

Ghana will face Congo in their opening Group A game on Friday, March 8, 2024 and will kick off at 3pm at the Accra Sports Stadium. The team will face The Gambia and Benin in subsequent Group games and will fight for a place in the semi-finals stage.

Ghana's technical team is headed by Desmond Ofei with Salifu Fatawu and Nii Odartey Lamptey as his assistants.
