Ghanaian referees Selorm Yao Bless and Theophilus Aberenga Akugree have been appointed to officiate the WAFU B U-17 AFCON qualifying clash between Benin and Nigeria, scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.
Yao Bless will take charge as the centre referee, with compatriot Aberenga Akugree serving as Assistant Referee 1. Togo’s Mifitahou Amidou has been named Assistant Referee 2, while Nigerien Zouwaira Souley Sani Souley will fulfill the role of fourth official.
Ivorian Agathe Athacou will act as Match Commissioner, while Niger’s Issaka Boubacar has been appointed Referees Assessor.
Burkinabe Juste Ephrem Zio has been confirmed as General Coordinator, with Ghana FA’s Patrick Akoto serving as Assistant General Coordinator.
The encounter will take place at the Lycée Scientifique de Yamoussoukro.
