Wa All Stars returned to winning ways on Sunday after scoring a late goal to defeat New Edubiase 1-0 in Wa to maintain their push for the top in the Premier League.

Richard Arthur produced the match winner in the 89th minute to save the Blues from yet another draw after their last two games ended in stalemate.

Wa All Stars lacked precision in the opening half and also had goalkeeper Richard Arthur to thank as he made some crucial saves to prevent Edubiase from scoring.

Arthur could have found the back of the net in the first half but he missed a penalty awarded the home side.

The victory preserves Wa All Stars' second position as it sets up a top-two clash against leaders, Hearts of Oak on match-day-6 in Accra.
