Vice President Mark Addo leads delegation to welcome Black Princesses after World Cup qualification
The Black Princesses have safely arrived in Accra after securing qualification to participate in the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
Ghana drew 1-1 with Uganda in Kampala but progressed on a 3-2 aggregate score after winning the first leg 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Princesses received a rapturous welcome upon arrival at the Accra International Airport at 5:30am on Monday, May 11, 2026.
Vice President Mark Addo led a delegation to welcome the players and technical team. He was joined by General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, Esq., Executive Council member Samuel Aboabire, Business Development Manager at the Ghana Football Association Janice Odonkor, and Human Resource Manager at the GFA Keziah Agyekumwaa Afosa.
