UMB Division One League Venue Media Officers to train on Wednesday ahead of 2026/27 season

Division One League Venue Media Officers (VMOs) will receive training on Wednesday, September 17, 2026, as preparations continue for the 2026/27 UMB Division One League season.

The training is to ensure that personnel responsible for media operations at Division One League venues are fully prepared for the season ahead. It will focus on matchday media operations and the practical tools required to deliver coordinated and professional media services.

The workshop will be led by Henry Asante Twum, Director of Communications.

Venue Media Officers are responsible for helping to organise and manage media activity at Division One League grounds.

VMOs act as an important link between the GFA and the various groups involved in covering Division One fixtures.

With the start of the competition fast approaching, the GFA, clubs, media professionals and other stakeholders are working together to support a successful and professionally organised league.
