Coaches in the UMB Division One League will come together for a one-day workshop ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The session is being organised through the Technical Directorate and will focus on improving technical standards, strengthening professionalism and creating a shared understanding of important issues before the new season begins.
Technical Director Prof. Joseph Kwame Mintah will lead the workshop alongside members of the Technical Directorate. Coaches from Division One League clubs will take part in discussions covering their roles and responsibilities throughout the upcoming campaign.
The engagement forms part of the association's preparations to ensure clubs and their officials are ready for the demands of the new season. It will also give coaches an opportunity to raise and discuss matters directly with the Technical Directorate.
Coaches will be reminded of the need for discipline, professionalism and strict compliance with the regulations governing football competitions.
The Technical Directorate will also use the workshop to outline its guidance and expectations to coaches before they take charge of their respective teams in another demanding Division One League campaign.
The 2026/27 UMB Division One League season is scheduled to begin on the weekend of September 18-20, 2026.
This initiative comes as teams enter the final stage of their preparations for the 2026/27 season, with coaches set to receive guidance designed to support their work throughout the campaign.
