Two second half goals give Medeama SC win over Aduana FC in Premier League

Michael Enu and Derrick Fordjour scored two second half goals to power Medeama SC to a 2-0 win over Aduana FC in the Ghana Premier League.

After a dominant display from Medeama SC, they shot into the lead through Michael Enu in the 73rd minute before Derrick Fordjour rounded things up in the 93rd minute. The Premier League game which was originally scheduled for Wednesday had to continue on Thursday after it was aborted because of a heavy downpour.

Medeama SC were the better of the two sides in the second half as they showed class to outclass the two-time champions.

The win sends the League champions to the 12th position with 28 points – while Aduana Stars remain third in the league standings with 36 points - three points adrift of leaders FC Samartex 1996.
