The Ghana Football Association will organize a two-day FIFA seminar on Football Pitch maintenance for groundsmen of various football pitches across the country.
The seminar which will begin from Thursday July 29- Friday July 30 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, is aimed at training the groundsmen on how to maintain the natural grass pitches to ensure longevity for clubs and for the nation.
FIFA pitch consultant Matthew Dean Gilasbey who arrived in Accra on Wednesday evening will take the various groundsmen through the latest technology on football pitch maintenance.
The two-day seminar will also raise awareness on the importance of good maintenance of football turf pitches and to maintain their quality.
GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi is expected to open the seminar on Thursday morning.
