Twenty Referees under the Catch Them Young Refereeing program have been selected to officiate at the 2026 U17 Colts Regional Champions Cup.
The tournament, sponsored by KIVO and JLAB, is scheduled to take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram from November 8-15, 2026.
The list comprises ten Centre Referees and ten Assistant Referees drawn from all ten football regions, highlighting the Association's commitment to youth refereeing development across the country.
The selected referees will be under the guidance of a Technical and Fitness team led by Alex Kotey (HoR/Technical), Joseph Keney Padi (Fitness Instructor), Daniel Quaye (Dep. HoD), Paul Dosu (Technical Instructor), Jones Akubiem (Referees Committee), and Louisa Amanor (Technical Instructor).
The Catch Them Young initiative remains a key pillar of the GFA's Refereeing strategy, designed to identify, educate and nurture young refereeing talents to feed the elite leagues and national teams.
The 2026 U17 Colts Regional Champions Cup will bring together the ten Regional Colts Champions to battle for national supremacy.
