The kick off date for the national division one league has been put off indefinitely by the Division League Board.
The decision to call off the start of the league which was earlier scheduled for this weekend is to allow for the completion of the verification process of registered players for the league, which is a constitutional mandate.
The league was initially scheduled to kick off on February 23, 2007.
The timeline for registration of players for the National Division One League has already been completed for the 2008 season.
By the statutes of the Ghana Football Association, the list of registered players would have to be published in an FA medium for verification before the start of the league.
