The fitness test is part of the mandatory training programmes for all elite referees before the start of every season. The tests is an integral part of the referees' preparation, guaranteeing that they are fully equipped to uphold the standards of the game as it also helps to keep up with the demands of the sport. Not only does it help them make better decisions on the field, but it will also reduce the risk of injury.
