Satellites seal semi's spot

Ghana sealed a spot amongst the last four teams of the Sasol Eight Nations tournament on Sunday.

Though the Black Satellites lost their final Group B game 1-0 to Egypt on Sunday, the national under-20 side yet still managed to qualify for the semi-finals of the competition courtesy a superior goal advantage over the young Pharaohs.

Ghana finished second on the standings as Lesotho jumped onto the top of the table after beating Ivory Coast in the other group game.

The top teams from each group advance to the semi-finals stage of the competition.

From Group A, Cameroun and Botswana are through to the last four stage of the competition.

Cameroon beat China 3-1 in their final Group A game in Eldorado Park on Sunday to secure a place in the next stage of the tournament with the group leaders Botswana.
