Ghana are closing in on a semi-final place at the 8-Nation International tournament as the Black Satellites return to action Sunday afternoon.

Following their opening group victory at the tournament, Ghana's U-20 team will now meet hosts, South Africa.

A win for the Black Satellites over the Amajita will secure them a place in the next round of the competition which kicked off last Friday.

Both sides will enter their clash at the Cape Town Stadium with contrasting fortunes from their opening fixtures.

While Ghana edged rivals, Nigeria, to a 3-2 win, it was defeat for South Africa as the hosts fell 3-1 to South American side, Argentina.

For Ghana, their quest to reach the last four could be confirmed days before their final group clash against Argentina if they win.

But the Amajita will be determined to play themselves back into contention for a semi-final place when they test their might against Ghana.

Argentina plays Nigeria in the other group match.
