Ghana's Sarah Nyarko has been named the overall best player in the WAFU B U20 Girls Cup in Benin. The Dreamz Ladies' dynamic midfielder scored three goals and provided an assist in Ghana's four matches played at the tournament. Sarah succeeds Stella Nyamekye, who won the best player award in the maiden edition in Kumasi. Ghana finished as runners-up to Nigeria, failing to defend their title. This tournament serves as a chance for Head Coach Charles Sampson to fine-tune his team ahead of the upcoming FIFA U20 Women's World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
