The Safeguarding Unit of the Football Association delivered a comprehensive training session to the National U15 Boys and Girls teams ahead of the WAFU Zone B African Schools Football Championship in Burkina Faso.
The exercise formed a key part of the teams’ final preparations, designed to equip young players and officials with the knowledge, awareness, and tools needed to ensure their safety and uphold the highest standards of conduct throughout the competition.
Players were reminded that misconduct in any form, bullying, sexual abuse, physical abuse or emotional abuse—is unacceptable and must be reported. Clear guidance was provided on the appropriate channels for reporting concerns, ensuring that players know how and where to seek help if needed.
