Rwanda’s Aline Umutoni to officiate Algeria vs. Ghana Quarterfinal clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Rwandan Aline Umutoni as the referee for the quarterfinal match between Ghana and Algeria.

She will be assisted by her compatriot Alice Umutesi as (Assistant Referee I) and Fides Bangurambona from Burundi as (Assistant Referee II). Kenyan official Josphine Wanjiku will serve as the fourth official.

Other match officials include Match Commissioner Olive Kiloha from the DR Congo, Referee Assessor Fatou Gaye from Senegal, and General Coordinator Helvi Noukongo Eliakim from Namibia.

This quarterfinal promises to be an exciting contest as both teams vie for a semifinal spot. The match is scheduled for July 19, 2025, at 16:00 GMT at the Stade Municipal de Berkane.
