The Ghana Football Association's (GFA) Executive Committee has approved the recommendation made by the Match Review Panel to suspend referee James Whittle Acquah for eight competitive matches.
After reviewing a video recording of the GN Bank Division One league match between Danbort and Okwahu United, the Match Review Panel observed that, referee James Whittle Acquah awarded two bad penalties against Okwahu United in the third and eleventh minutes of the match.
The Executive Committee has therefore upheld the panels recommendation to ban Referee Acquah for eight matchs with immediate effect
