Real Tamale United snatch a point with late equaliser in Berekum

Real Tamale United were held to a 1-1 draw by Bofoakwa Tano at the Golden City Park in Berekum Monday.

Saaka Dauda had given the visitors a one-goal lead at Golden City Park but Real Tamale United were allowed back into the game and Musah Alhassan levelled late on to give his side one valuable point.

Saaka netted from the spot in the 36th minute to the delight of fans who travelled from Sunyani to Berekum to witness the game at Golden City Park.

Bofoakwa Tano wasted a string of chances to add to their tally and were punished in the 90th minute as Musah Alhassan got on the end of a delightful pass to fire it past goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi at the far post.

The result takes Bofoakwa Tano to the 16th spot with 19 points - one step above Heart of Lions, while Real Tamale United remain in the bottom spot with 18 points after 19 rounds of Premier League games.
