The soggy pitch at the Wa Park has forced the game between All Stars and Asante Kotoko to be called off.

All Stars and new league champions, Asante Kotoko would return to the Wa Park again on Thursday to play their match-day-28 league fixture.

After 36 minutes of play of the game in the goalless game, match referee, Nathaniel Plange decided to end it because of the soggy nature of the field which had rendered play difficult for both sides.

The Wa municipality had been experiencing heavy rains since Tuesday but the game still kicked off on the rain-soaked pitch on Wednesday.

But in the course of the game, play became rather tricky forcing the referee to blow his whistle to signal the end of the game.

The match would be played at the same venue on Thursday.
