Queiroz names Bonsu Baah, Oppong Peprah and Thomas-Asante in starting line-up for Cote d'Ivoire clash

Carlos Queiroz has named Christopher Bonsu Baah, Kojo Oppong Peprah and Brandon Thomas-Asante in the starting line-up for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group C qualifier against Cote d'Ivoire.

Alexander Djiku will lead the team as captain following his return from injury.

Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been selected in goal, with Kojo Oppong Peprah, Gideon Mensah, Jerome Opoku and Alexander Djiku forming the back four.

Kwasi Sibo and Caleb Yirenkyi will operate in midfield, while Christopher Bonsu Baah and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku play on the wings. Ernest Nuamah will play behind striker Brandon Thomas-Asante.

The Group C qualifier is scheduled for 19:00 GMT kick-off at the Stade de la Paix in Bouake on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
