President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has held an engaging stakeholder meeting with club officials, match commissioners, referees, assessors and the leadership of the Upper East Regional Football Association as he officially began his tour of the Upper East Region.

The GFA President is currently in Bolgatanga with his entourage as he continues a series of engagements with key football stakeholders across the three Northern Regions.

On Tuesday night, he held an interactive session with football administrators and officials in the Upper East Region, providing a platform for dialogue, feedback and the exchange of ideas aimed at strengthening football development in the region.

The engagement forms part of President Simeon-Okraku’s people-centered approach to leadership, which prioritises direct interaction with stakeholders at the grassroots and regional levels to better understand challenges and shape responsive policies.

President Simeon-Okraku is also scheduled to meet top government officials and traditional authorities in the Upper East Region on Wednesday as part of efforts to deepen collaboration and reinforce partnerships that support football development and youth empowerment.

The Upper East engagement follows the conclusion of the President’s tour of the Upper West Region, which included a stopover in Tumu, the municipal capital of the Sissala East Municipal Assembly.

During that visit, he met with stakeholders of the Sissala East Municipal Football Association and other key actors as part of his broader mission to build inclusive, sustainable football development across the Northern Regions.
