The Football Association has scheduled Wednesday, September 30, 2026, for the outstanding Premier League Matchday Two fixture between Medeama SC and newly promoted Port City FC.
Port City will travel to the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa for their first-ever Premier League meeting with the champions, as both sides look to make up for the fixture postponed earlier in the season due to Medeama’s participation in the CAF Champions League.
Medeama played their first outstanding fixture on Wednesday, September 23, securing a dramatic 2-2 draw against Dreams FC at the Tuba Astro Turf. The result earned the defending champions a valuable point as they continue to catch up on their league schedule following their continental campaign.
The September 30 encounter will therefore mark Medeama’s final outstanding fixture, completing their early-season schedule in the Premier League.
Before then, both clubs have Matchday Four assignments on Sunday, September 27. Medeama will host Basake Holy Stars, while Port City travel to face Gold Stars as the two sides prepare for their midweek showdown in Tarkwa.
