Medeama SC will aim to extend their perfect start to the 2025/26 Premier League when they host Vision FC at the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium on Friday, September 19, 2025.

The Mauve and Yellow opened their campaign with a 2–0 victory over Young Apostles at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park, thanks to goals from Jacob Amu Mensah and youngster Paul Yeboah. That result stretched Medeama’s unbeaten league run to 12 matches (W11, D1).

The 2022/23 champions were formidable at home last season, winning 12 of 17 games, drawing three, and losing only twice. They netted a league-high 28 goals and conceded just eight at Tarkwa, collecting 39 points on their own turf.

Vision FC began their season with a goalless home draw against FC Samartex 1996, holding firm despite being reduced to ten men in the 75th minute, a resilient display that should lift the confidence of Nana Agyemang’s men. However, their away record last season was one of the league’s weakest: they dropped points in 15 of 17 road fixtures and conceded 24 goals. Their only away win came early in the campaign against Accra Lions (2–0).

Since Vision FC’s promotion to the top flight, the sides have met once at Tarkwa, with Medeama claiming a 3–1 victory.

With Medeama’s strong home form and Vision’s travel struggles, the hosts enter Friday night’s clash as clear favourites to continue their impressive run.
