Hearts of Oak were held to a goalless draw by struggling Dreams FC, while Vision FC were also forced to settle for a point against Gold Stars as Saturday’s two Premier League fixtures ended without a goal.

Dreams FC and Hearts of Oak produced an entertaining contest despite failing to find the breakthrough, with both sides creating opportunities in a keenly contested encounter at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium,

Dreams came close in the first half when Mohammed Shaban picked out Razak with a well-weighted pass, but the forward was unable to make the crucial connection as the hosts missed a golden opportunity.

Hearts of Oak also threatened, but Dreams goalkeeper Rahman Osman produced an important save to deny the Phobians and keep the scores level.

Neither side could find the decisive touch after the interval, with the points eventually shared.

The draw moves Hearts of Oak into fourth place with eight points, while Dreams remain rooted to the foot of the table with just two points from five matches. The Phobians have now failed to score in their last three league games, while Dreams remain without a victory this season.

Vision held at home by Gold Stars

Vision FC were unable to turn home advantage into victory as they were held to a goalless draw by Gold Stars SC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex,

Vision had been hoping to build on their encouraging 1-1 away draw against Berekum Chelsea, but the Tema-based side could not find a way past a determined Gold Stars defence.

The point offers some relief after their disappointing 2-0 home defeat to newly promoted Port City FC last weekend.

Vision remain ninth in the standings, while Gold Stars stay in the relegation zone following another difficult outing.
