The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has commenced the distribution of football boots to Ghana Premier League clubs ahead of the 2026/27 season. Twelve clubs have already picked up their allocation from the GFA headquarters in Accra, while the remaining clubs who are yet to collect theirs are expected to do so next week.

The exercise forms part of the Association's efforts to support Premier League clubs and ease their logistical burden ahead of the new campaign.

Each club is receiving 30 set of football boots for their playing body for the upcoming season. General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, who is supervising the distribution, said the initiative reaffirms the GFA's commitment to creating an enabling environment for clubs to thrive.

"This is part of our broader strategy to support our clubs and ensure that players are adequately equipped for the new season. Clubs who have picked up have done so, and we have made arrangements for the rest to collect theirs from next week," he said.

Club representatives who have picked up their boots have expressed appreciation to the GFA for the gesture. The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
