Newly crowned champions Gold Stars FC will officially be presented with the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League trophy on Saturday, June 14, 2025, after a ceremonial coronation match against regional rivals Medeama SC at the Duns Park in Bibiani.

The Miners made history last Sunday by clinching their maiden league title in emphatic fashion, dismantling relegated Accra Lions 4-0 in front of their jubilant home fans. The result capped off a dominant campaign for the Bibiani-based side, who have become the third consecutive club from the Western Region to lift the top-flight trophy.

Saturday’s encounter with Medeama kickoff 3pm local time (15:00 GMT).
