Hasaacas Ladies Chief Executive Officer Evelyn Nsiah Asare has been appointed Chairperson of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the U-15 Girls Inter-Regional Championship.

A former board member of Asante Kotoko, Nsiah Asare will head a three-member committee responsible for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of the championship. The tournament stands as a flagship grassroots initiative aimed at identifying, developing and nurturing young female football talents from across the country.

Rasheeda Hassan has been named Vice-Chairperson of the committee, bringing valuable administrative experience to the setup, while Hearts of Oak’s Afua Boateng completes the committee as a member.

The tournament is exclusively tailored for the Regional Football Associations (RFAs), who are responsible for identifying and assembling their most promising players within the specified age category for the final phase of the competition.

Players who distinguish themselves during the championship will earn selection into the Football Association’s three Elite Academies and the National U-15 team, providing them with a clear pathway to continue their development in a structured, high-performance setting.

The U-15 Girls Inter-Regional Championship remains a cornerstone of Ghana’s football development pathway, offering a structured platform for discovering and grooming players expected to form the foundation of future national youth teams.
