POWER TO THE YOUTH: Dr. Charles Antoh Retained as Chairman of Black Damsels Management Committee
Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA) Chairman, Dr. Charles Osei Antoh has been named the new Chairman of the Management Committee for the U-15 girls national team, the Black Damsels. His appointment is part of the association’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the administrative structures supporting Ghana’s juvenile national teams.
Dr. Antoh will be supported by Michael Ayeh, who takes up the role of Vice Chairman. Together, they will oversee the planning, preparation, and smooth running of activities concerning the Black Damsels, ensuring that the team is well-positioned to excel both locally and internationally.
The committee also includes distinguished members such as Owura Adumako, Alhassan Ziblim, and Dr. Daniel Bagbin, all of whom bring valuable expertise and leadership experience to the team’s management. Their collective role will be to provide strategic guidance, ensure player welfare, and create a supportive environment for the technical team to thrive.
With the appointment of Dr. Antoh and his team, the Black Damsels now have a well-structured management body in place to complement the technical team led by newly appointed head coach Sandra Boakye.
This new leadership marks another significant step in the Association’s broader vision to develop women’s football from the grassroots, creating opportunities for young girls to progress into the higher national teams and make Ghana proud on the global stage.
