Nations FC held at home by Pro Sports Academy, New Edubiase and King Faisal share spoils in Zone Two

Former Premier League side Nations FC fought back to secure a valuable point in a 1-1 draw against newly promoted Pro Sports Academy at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Pro Sports Academy took the lead in the 21st minute through Kwabena Boakye, sending the visitors into halftime with a narrow 1-0 advantage. Nations FC responded strongly after the break, dominating possession for much of the second half as they searched for an equaliser.

Their persistence paid off in the 83rd minute when substitute Dede Ishmael found the back of the net to restore parity and earn a share of the spoils.

At the Gyamfi Park in Bekwai, New Edubiase United FC were held to a goalless draw by former Premier League side King Faisal FC in Zone Two. Both teams created several promising scoring opportunities but were unable to find the breakthrough, with the contest ending in a competitive stalemate.

Elsewhere, Nsuopun Fidelity FC maintained their unbeaten start to their second consecutive Division One League campaign in Zone Two after earning a hard-fought 1-1 draw away to Sekondi Rospak SC at Akoon Park in Tarkwa. Nsuopun Fidelity made a strong start, taking the lead just two minutes after kick-off and carrying their 1-0 advantage into halftime.

Sekondi Rospak battled back after the break and eventually found the equaliser in the 80th minute through Eugene Yakah, who produced a brilliant strike to secure his side's first point of the season following their opening-day defeat on the road.
