The Round of 16 matches in the MTN FA Cup are shaping up to be an exciting affair. Defending champions Asante Kotoko will take on Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, in what promises to be a close contest. The two teams drew 1-1 in their recent league encounter, so it's anyone's game. Kotoko will look to leverage their experience and pedigree to edge past Aduana, but Aduana FC won't go down without a fight.

The Porcupine Warriors are going through a difficult spell after recording only two victories in their last six matches. The Reds hammered Bechem United 6-1 but fell to Swedru All Blacks before dropping points against Berekum Chelsea, Bibiani Gold Stars and Heart of Lions with the other victory coming against Basake Holy Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. In the MTN FA Cup, Asante Kotoko have been decisive in matches against Future Stars and King Faisal. Aduana FC are third in the Premier League table and won't go down without a fight.

Other interesting pairings include Dreams FC vs Inter Allies, with Inter Allies' Technical Director Willie Klutse expressing confidence in his team's chances against the former champions. Berekum Chelsea will face Tamale City, who are looking strong having gone 18 matches without defeat in the Access Bank Division One League. Nations FC take on Swedru All Blacks in a match that could go either way. Two-time champions Medeama SC will host FC Samartex 1996 at the T&A Park on Saturday.

Eleven Wonders will kick start the weekend with a match against Attram De Visser at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Complex at Tema New Town.
