Today's profile shines the spotlight on Peter Fiifi Parker, the head coach of Golden Kick FC, currently competing in the Access Bank Division One League Zone Three.

Read on for his profile:

Full Name: Fiifi Parker Hanson

Nationality: Ghanaian

Age: 41

Fiifi Parker Hanson, born on July 20, 1984, is now 41 years old and has had a distinguished career in football management. With experience as Technical Director at Sporting Accra, Mentor Coach at Toledo FC in Spain's third tier, and Scout at Right to Dream Academy, Hanson has developed a strong background in talent development and coaching.

Hanson's journey began at Right to Dream Academy, where he served as Event Coordinator and Chief Scout from 2000 to 2015. He later became Head Coach of Sporting Club Accra in 2018, focusing on talent development. From 2018 to 2020, he was Mentor Coach for Toledo FC, implementing comprehensive mentoring programs for new players.

As the current head coach of Golden Kick SC, Hanson has achieved a historic milestone by leading the team to the MTN FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in the club's history. They will face Attram de Visser, a fellow Division One side, on May 10, 2025. Hanson's impressive FA Cup campaign includes:

  • Eliminating Kotoku Royals 1-0 in the preliminary stage
  • Beating WAFA 1-0 away in the round of 64
  • Defeating Danbort FC 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw
  • Conjuring a 4-3 penalty win over Hearts of Oak after a goalless draw
  • Eliminating Karela United 3-5 on penalties after another goalless stalemate

Hanson's defensive strategy has been key, conceding just two goals in the FA Cup campaign. As assistant coach of the National U-20 Girls Team (The Black Princesses), Hanson will look to maintain his team's possessive style against Attram de Visser in the semi-final on Saturday.
