MTN Elite U19: Brong Ahafo edge Ashanti Region on penalties to set up Final clash with Eastern Region
Brong Ahafo Region sealed their place in the grand finale of the maiden MTN Elite U19 Championship after a tense 5–3 penalty shootout victory over Ashanti Region in Friday’s thrilling semi-final at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
After a fiercely contested goalless draw in regulation time, the match was decided by the lottery of penalties, where Brong Ahafo held their nerve to convert all five spot-kicks.
