The complete fixtures for the 2026 MTN Elite Under-19 Championship have been released.
The highly anticipated youth tournament, sponsored by MTN Ghana, will kick off on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, bringing together some of the country’s most promising second Division young talents for an 11-day football extravaganza.
The teams will arrive at the GFA technical hub on Monday August 24, 2026.
In Group A, defending champions Eastern Region will begin their title defence against Upper West Region in a potentially tricky encounter scheduled for 10:30 GMT.
Earlier, Volta Region will take on Ashanti Region in the Group A opener, with kick-off set for 8:00 GMT.
In Group B, last year’s runners-up Brong Ahafo Region will launch their campaign against Central Region in the third match of the day, scheduled for 13:00 GMT (1pm local time).
The day’s action will conclude with Upper East Region facing Northern Region in what promises to be another intriguing contest.
The 11-day championship is expected to provide a crucial platform for Ghana’s emerging footballers to demonstrate their abilities, sharpen their technical skills and compete at a high level. Beyond the opportunity to win the coveted title, the tournament will also offer players a pathway to attract the attention of national youth team selectors.
