Mohammed Salisu, Kojo Oppong Peprah, and Caleb Yirenkyi have joined the Black Stars camp in Casablanca, bringing the number of players in camp to 23 ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic.

The trio arrived in Casablanca on Monday evening and will travel with the team to Meknes on Tuesday to finalize preparations for the match on Wednesday. While Mohammed Salisu and Caleb Yirenkyi participated in the last qualifier against Mali in Accra, Kojo Oppong Peprah, who earned his first call-up after a strong showing for OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1, is yet to feature for the Black Stars.

They are expected to train with the rest of the squad in Meknes on Tuesday, competing for a spot in the matchday squad on Wednesday.

Ghana will face the Central African Republic at Stade D’Honneur de Meknes at 16:00 GMT on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

The Black Stars are chasing a fifth World Cup appearance, currently topping Group I with 19 points and just two matches left in the qualifiers.

The only absentee at the moment is FC Basel defender Jonas Adjetey, who is expected to arrive on Tuesday.
