A late equaliser handed Mighty Jets a lifeline as the relegation battle in the Glo Premier League will continue into the final weekend.

Mighty Jets came from behind to draw 1-1 with Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Mahatma Otoo opened the scoring for Hearts in the 12 minute.

Hearts held on to their lead till the 87th minute when captain Mubarak Yahya equalised for Jets.

On the stroke of full-time, Hearts were awarded a penalty after James Abban was felled in the box.

Abban elected himself for the kick and missed from the spot, a miss which prolonged Jets' stay in the Premier League.
