Maamobi Midtjiland would hope to stage a comeback to Division One after being relegated to the third tier of Ghana football, the Second Division.

The former Division One side who over the years have been attempting to secure their place in the premiership lost 4-0 to King Solomon on Wednesday at the Tema Sports Stadium in a Zone 3 play-off game.

As the defeat condemns Midtjiland to the Second Division, their place in Zone 3A will be filled by Great Olympics, who dropped from the premiership ranks at the end of the last season for the new season.

King Solomon maintains its place in Zone 3B.

The outcome of yesterday's game now paves way for the start of the Division One League in November.
