Media Accreditation for the World Cup opened on Monday, January 26, 2026 across the world. As in previous World Cups, Member Associations have been allotted a fixed number of written press and photographer accreditations. Ghana was given only 10 accreditation quota for written press and two for photographers. The media is hereby informed that this quota does not include broadcasters, radio and television stations, or broadcast and non-broadcast right holders of the World Cup. Journalists are allowed to register on the FIFA Media Hub for non-rights holders, while photographers may also explore that route for possible accreditation slots.
