A total of 68 referees and assistant referees will participate in a preparatory course ahead of the 2026/27 Malta Women’s Premier League season.
The five-day course is scheduled to take place from October 15 to October 19, 2026, at the Association’s Technical Centre, the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram.
The group will comprise 34 centre referees and 34 assistant referees, who will undergo a series of technical and physical assessments as part of preparations for the upcoming Women’s Premier League campaign.
The course is expected to help ensure that the selected match officials are adequately prepared for the demands of the new season, with emphasis on maintaining high officiating standards throughout the competition.
The training at the GSCE forms part of the Association’s preparations for the 2026/27 Women’s Premier League season and will provide the officials with an opportunity to sharpen their skills ahead of the start of the campaign.
