Heart of Lions lacked the strength to cope with the form of New Edubiase at the Gyamfi Park where they lost 2-0 on Wednesday in the Premier League.

The Kpando side who had shown good form to hold Hearts of Oak over the weekend could generate the same performance as they went down.

Asiedu Atobrah got the opener for Edubiase before Nuhu Fuseini made it two-nil in the second half.

The win lifts Edubiase out of the bottom three.

In Wa, home team Wa All Stars managed a solitary 1-0 victory over Hasaacas.

Paul De Vries Asare gave the Blues the match winner in the first half to leave the Sekondi side in the relegation bracket.

At the Robert Mensah Stadium, a Francis Atuquaye header for Ebusua Dwarfs condemned King Faisal to a 1-0 defeat.
