Asante Kotoko were left bruised but still hold onto their top position in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors were stunned by Heart of Lions in Kpando where they lost 2-0 in their second away defeat of the season.

The result was Kotoko's biggest loss this season.

Two first half goals from Isaac Osae and Koney Idan ensured that Lions recorded a massive win of the season.

Osae opened the scoring after 17 minutes, firing past goalkeeper Isaac Amoako.

Nine minutes later, Lions were back in front when Idan scored to put the game beyond the reigning champions.
