Heart of Lions picked all three points at the Kpando park where they beat Real Tamale United 1-0.
The first half ended goalless as good defending by Real Tamale United kept their opponents at bay.
Both sides failed to find the back of the net ending the first half 0-0.
In the second half, Heart of Lions finally broke the deadlock.
Ibrahim Sulemana scored the match winner for Lions.
Real Tamale United could not come back into the game after the goal as the home side jealously guarded their lead.
