Liberty smash Ebusua Dwarfs 4-0 on Day Two of NC Special Competition

Liberty Professionals were the biggest winners on Day Two of Normalisation Committee Special Competition after thrashing Ebusua Dwarfs 4-0 at the Carl Reindorf Stadium on Wednesday. 

Teams in the first and second tiers of the competition engaged each other in matches played in the respective zones across the country. 

Kwadwo Addae let his side down in the first half when he let in an own goal before Emmanuel Addo added a brace in pile pressure on the visitors from Cape Coast. 

The Dansoman based club who suffered a 3-1 opening day defeat to WAFA, wrapped up their victory with a goal from Benjamin Eshun.

Coach Kim Grant’s suffered an unpleasant return to Elmina as his former side Sharks pipped Grant’s Hearts of Oak by a lone goal courtesy Homebased Black Stars forward Felix Addo’s 84th minute goal.

Away in Dormaa, visiting Eleven Wonders remain winless as the Ogya lads won the Day 2 fixture 2-1. 

Yahaya Mohammed and Abdul Rahman Fatawu were the scorers for Aduana Stars with Alex Asamoah getting the consolation goal for Eleven Wonders.

Samuel Alabi and Diawisie Taylor scored for respective sides as Dreams FC and Karela FC drew 1-1 at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

Also in the Premier B Zone, Bechem United drew goalless with Ashantigold with Medeama set to host Asante Kotoko in the final Day2 fixture at the T & A park on Thursday.
