The Elections Committee of the GFA has fixed Monday, September 12 for the selection of chairman of the Eastern Regional Football Association.
This follows an Accra High Court's dismissal of an interlocutory injunction filed by S.C. Hikari against the Eastern Region Football Association election for the position of Chairman to the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee.
The Court also quashed the injunction by the second division side restraining incumbent chairman, Lawal Abdul Ganiyu, from contesting the position of chairman.
According to the Elections Committee, the election will start at 10:00 GMT in Koforidua as Lawal and Nana Kwadwo Budu II contest to represent the region on the GFA Executive Committee.
