AshantiGold was denied its first victory of the season after Real Tamale United notched a late equaliser in their 2-2 draw on Sunday.
The all-action game recorded all goals in the second half as both sides shared the spoils at the Tamale Stadium.
RTU, making their return to the premiership scored first when Emmanuel Kwamena put them in front after 58th minutes but 20 minutes later, Yakubu Mohammed equalised for the visitors.
The Miners with a minute to regulation time scored what looked to be the winner through Louis Agyemang in the 89th minute.
But Abdul Aziz Yusif handed the home fans something to cheer about when he scored the equaliser in added time.
