Kwahu East have emerged champions of the 2025 Eastern Region Inter-District U17 Championship after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Lower West Akim in the final. The closely contested encounter was held at the Koforidua Sports Stadium, drawing a sizeable crowd of supporters and regional football stakeholders.
The winning goal came in the second half, following a spell of dominance from Kwahu East. Their relentless pressure paid off when a well-worked team move was finished off with composure, sending their fans into wild celebrations. Despite a late surge from Lower West Akim in search of an equalizer, Kwahu East held firm defensively to secure the title.
