Asante Kotoko reclaimed top spot in the Glo Premier League from champions Berekum Chelsea after winning 1-0 against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.
Daniel Nii Adjei scored the match winner in the 60th minute to end Dwarfs' nine-game unbeaten run in the league.
Kotoko have now opened a two-point lead at the top ahead of Chelsea as their rivals, Hearts of Oak, are three points off and still remain on 19 points after losing their late kick-off fixture 2-0 to Liberty Professionals.
