Asante Kotoko have now opened a 10-lead at the summit of the Glo Premier League after beating Ebusua Dwarfs 2-0 on Sunday.

Dwarfs, serving a home ban had to turn to the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi as they tried to overcome a difficult period in the league following the closure of their home grounds but they could not match Kotoko's efficiency.

Two goals in either half of the game from Kofi Nti Boakye and Ben Acheampong extended Kotoko's lead at the top as their rivals, Hearts of Oak lost the Accra derby 1-0 to Liberty Professionals.

Maxwell Konadu's side now have AshantiGold breathing down their neck though they enjoy a 10-lead ahead of their neighbours.
