Central Region opened up a three-point lead at the top of Group B after a remarkable surge in the 2025 KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U-17 Colts Championship at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
Leaping from third to first, Central now sit on nine points following their decisive 2–0 win over last year’s silver medalists, Eastern Region.
Ashanti Region trail in second with six points, level with Eastern Region in third and Brong Ahafo in fourth, with goal difference separating the three sides. Greater Accra Elite B hold fifth place on five points, while Upper East occupy the bottom spot with four points.
Now in its fifth year, the KGL U-17 Inter-Regional Championship has firmly established itself as Ghana’s premier platform for discovering and nurturing young football talent.
The 2025 edition features an expanded 12-team lineup drawn from all ten Regional Football Associations alongside the GFA Elite Academies, ensuring both competitive depth and nationwide representation.
